This year we were invited back to the Monterey Motorsport Reunion at Laguna Seca for the third time, but this year was special as we were pleased to be notified that this year NISSAN was the featured mark!
With 14 Datsun Roadsters accepted, and a field of close to 60 Datsun’s and Nissan’s accepted to this prestigious event! we were excited to go back and race in Monterey!
Mike Anderson, and his brother Andy were kind enough to pull the mighty 33 Roadster up to the track leaving an easy drive for us to the track and Bill Wessel, Mike Anderson and I were all pitted together ready to race!

we made it to the event and to the class photo but lost the motor on the first warmup due to a valve train failure 😦
Despite this setback we had a glorious weekend with Mike the fastest Datsun 2000 and Bill the fastest 1600. We saw lots of great friends and had a wonderful time.
